Blizzard announces a major crossover event between Diablo Immortal and StarCraft

Blizzard Entertainment has officially unveiled the next major event for Diablo Immortal — a collaboration with the legendary StarCraft universe.

The limited-time crossover, titled “Aeon of Stars”, will run from May 13 to June 10, bringing Zerg mutations and Protoss technology into Sanctuary.

The centerpiece of the event is the new Dark Ascension mode. Over a four-week reward cycle, players will be able to challenge the forces of the Tal’Dorei. Boss encounters — including Tal’Dorei templars and Ascended Archons — are designed for four-player groups. Completing special event objectives will unlock exclusive rewards and collectibles.

To further enhance character builds, a new legendary gem called Baneboil has been introduced. It enables corrosive explosive effects that can tear through enemy ranks and spread chaos across the battlefield.

The Conqueror mode is also receiving thematic updates, featuring new monuments tied to iconic StarCraft factions.
