Pokémon Presents returns on july 22

The Pokémon Company has announced a new Pokémon Presents showcase, scheduled for Tuesday, July 22. The presentation will be streamed on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.

Ahead of the event, a promotional image featuring Pikachu standing at a DJ booth has been released, possibly hinting at a musical theme for part of the show.

While the content of the broadcast remains under wraps, it’s expected to include new details on Pokémon Legends Z-A, the next major title in the series. The company had previously confirmed the game’s release and noted that players who purchase the Nintendo Switch version will have the option to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition via an upgrade pack.

It’s also worth noting that 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. Fans are speculating that the tenth generation of Pokémon might be unveiled as part of the anniversary celebration. Another Pokémon Presents is likely to take place in February 2026, in line with the annual Pokémon Day tradition.
