ESL Faceit Group has confirmed that a new Counter-Strike 2 tournament will take place in 2026 at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland. This announcement follows news that one of ESL’s two most prestigious annual CS 2 events will move from Katowice to Kraków in 2026.
The format of the upcoming Katowice event and its exact dates have not been disclosed yet. However, HLTV speculates that it could be the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 23.
Earlier, ESL announced four major events for 2026:
- IEM Kraków in January,
- IEM Brazil in April,
- IEM USA in May,
- IEM China in November.
