Relic Entertainment has officially announced a remaster of the iconic RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, titled Dawn of War: Definitive Edition. The updated version will feature 4K resolution support, an improved interface, a modernized technical foundation, and full compatibility with mods via Steam Workshop.
The Definitive Edition will include the base game along with all its expansions — Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm — allowing players to enjoy all campaign content in one package without needing to install separate titles.
Developers promise an updated multiplayer system, enhanced stability, modern controller support, and full compatibility with current hardware. Players will also be able to switch between the original and updated UI.
Dawn of War: Definitive Edition is set to launch sometime in 2024, though an exact release date has yet to be revealed.
