Fans spot hints of a new map in Valorant’s 5th anniversary trailer

Riot Games may have hidden teasers for a new Valorant map in the special trailer celebrating the game’s 5th anniversary. The video was released just ahead of the launch of Act III, which went live on May 1.

Keen-eyed viewers spotted two previously unseen locations in the trailer, sparking speculation that these could be early glimpses of an upcoming map designed for both standard and ranked Spike modes.

The scenes show an open area surrounded by tall buildings, resembling classic spike plant zones. The design evokes a historic European town with brick architecture, towers, and black-tiled rooftops, some of which are covered in snow and ice.

These visual clues have led fans to believe that Riot might be working on a winter-themed map with a unique atmosphere, possibly one of the main additions in future updates.

Meanwhile, Act III of Valorant has officially begun, bringing with it a new Battle Pass, a fresh skin bundle, and a themed Duo’s Day collection. The update rolled out alongside patch 10.08, setting the stage for what’s next in the game.
