Remedy Entertainment has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming co-op action game FBC: Firebreak, a spin-off set in the universe of Control.
The game follows agents of the Federal Bureau of Control as they face new paranormal threats inside the ever-shifting Oldest House. The trailer showcases a confrontation with an extradimensional substance known as Exogenic Mass, as well as dangerous anomalous furnaces that have gone out of control.
Each mission takes place in a unique sector, featuring its own physics and gameplay mechanics. In an earlier mission, for example, players had to combat sentient Post-It notes. The new mission focuses on malfunctioning systems and a destructive pink substance.
Importantly, FBC: Firebreak is not a live service game — there will be no battle passes or time-limited events, and all post-launch updates will be free.
The game is set to release in summer 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A more detailed presentation will take place on April 24 on Twitch.

As a reminder, Remedy is also working on Control 2 and the remakes of Max Payne 1 & 2 in collaboration with Rockstar Games.
