Blizzard has revealed an extended roadmap for Diablo 4, outlining content plans up to 2026. Key updates include the release of a second major expansion, a ranked mode, leaderboards, and two major crossovers with well-known IPs that will be announced later in 2024.
Currently, the game is in the midst of its “Return of Belial” season, running through June. Players can challenge Belial, Lord of Lies, along with two new bosses from the upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion, all featured through the revamped Lair Boss system.
This summer will introduce the “Sins of the Horadrim” season, with a focus on Nightmare Dungeons. Players can expect new activities and scalable dungeon intensity while hunting the Barons of Hell. The year will conclude with the “Infernal Chaos” season.
Blizzard also confirmed that keyboard and mouse support will be added for console players in 2024, expanding control options and customization. Additionally, two mystery crossovers with other franchises are on the way, which Blizzard says will perfectly complement the dark tone of Diablo.
