The second season of Premier has started in CS 2

Valve has released a new update for Counter-Strike 2, which went live on the night of January 29. The patch introduces Season 2 of Premier Mode, along with balance changes to weapon economy and accuracy.

Key Changes in the Update:

Premier

• Season 2 of Premier Mode has begun.
• Players who had a CS Rating in Season 1 will receive a commemorative medal with detailed statistics.
• CS Rating has been recalibrated – players need to win 10 matches to regain their rating.
• Train has been added to the active map pool, while Vertigo has been removed.

Weapon Balance

• M4A4 and FAMAS are now cheaper, and FAMAS accuracy has been improved.
• Reduced crouch-firing accuracy for MP9, MP5-SD, and MP7.
• Updated AUG/SG scope to enhance usability at long distances.

Other Changes

• Dynamic radar scaling added for better visibility.
• Fixed bugs on Train.
• Increased C4 brightness for better visibility.
• Added support for playing incomplete demo files.
• Counter-strafes are now logged on the server.
