Tournament organizer BLAST has shared details about the new Rising open championship series, set to take place in February 2025. The information was published on the official website.
The competition will be held across four regions: Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. Each region will host one open qualifier, with the winners joining 12 invited teams (based on Valve rankings) in the closed stage. This stage will determine the four teams advancing to the final event, Rising Finals.
The finals will feature eight teams: four qualifying through the closed stage and four receiving direct invitations. The winner of the Rising Finals will earn a spot at BLAST Open.
Key Dates for BLAST Rising:
- Invitations Sent: February 3
- Open Qualifiers: February 4–7 (depending on the region)
- Closed Qualifiers: February 5–10
- Rising Finals: February 8–14
