December 2024. The presentation took place during the annual Fallout Day, which commemorates the start of the Great War in the game’s universe, and attracted millions of players to the live stream.
Players received many new details about the Gleaming Depths update, including new bosses like the Ultracite Terror—a giant mutated snake that will become the largest boss in the game. Additionally, the introduction of 4-star Legendary effects and high-difficulty challenges was announced, promising to test even the most experienced players.

The update will also introduce new perks, such as Slayer, which increases damage against raid and legendary enemies by 50%. The events will unfold in an abandoned Enclave, where the spread of Ultracite across the world was being studied.

Fallout 76, which has been around for more than five years, continues to improve, and Gleaming Depths promises new opportunities for players, especially with creative solutions for building new settlements.
