Team Vitality triumphed over NAVI in the grand final of IEM Cologne 2024 with a final score of 3:1. The map results were as follows: Nuke (16:14), Dust 2 (10:13), Mirage (22:20), and Inferno (13:9).
The most intense competition occurred on the third map, Mirage, where teams needed three extra overtime rounds to determine the winner. In the end, Vitality won Mirage, with Mathieu “ZywOo” Erbo delivering an outstanding clutch.
The victory earned Vitality $400,000, along with spots at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 and IEM Katowice 2025. The team extended their winning streak against NAVI, who have not beaten Vitality since 2022. NAVI earned $180,000 for their second-place finish.
IEM Cologne 2024 took place from August 7 to 18 in Germany, where the world’s top teams competed for a $1 million prize pool and ranking points. Two other Eastern European representatives, Virtus.pro and Team Spirit, finished in the last place of the group stage, each earning $10,000.
