2K’s Cloud Chamber Studio is in full swing as they continue development on the highly anticipated next installment in the beloved BioShock series. The studio is actively seeking talented game developers to join their team in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Montreal. With 29 open positions across various disciplines such as animation, art, design, production, and writing, Cloud Chamber is on the lookout for top talent to bring their vision to life.
Announced back in December 2019, BioShock 4 is shrouded in mystery, with details being kept under wraps for the past four and a half years. Set in a new and fantastical world, the game is rumored to take place in the 1960s in a fictional Antarctic city named Borealis. The team at Cloud Chamber includes industry veterans like design director Jonathan Pelling and creative director Hoagy de la Plante, who have worked on previous BioShock titles.
While original BioShock director Ken Levine is not involved in the new project, fans can still expect an immersive single-player, sci-fi first-person shooter experience. The game is slated for release by March 2025, during Take-Two’s current financial year. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new chapter in the BioShock series!
