Riot Games has shared details about the 14.10 update for League of Legends. In this update, significant changes will be made to marksman items, and some runes will be removed.

Rune Changes:

• The “Predator” rune will be removed from the game as it had a negative impact on gameplay and was not very popular.
• The “Deadly Tempo” rune will also be removed from the MOBA. It was popular among marksmen, replacing their items with attack speed.
• To compensate for these changes, other runes such as “Press the Attack,” “Lethal Tempo,” “Conqueror,” “Blade Flurry,” “Ravenous Hunter,” and others will undergo partial reworks.

Item Changes:

• The main changes will affect items for marksmen. Now each item will only enhance two scaling parameters.
• For example, “Phantom Dancer” previously enhanced four parameters: AD, attack speed, critical strike chance, and movement speed. After the rework, it will only increase attack speed by 60%, but will no longer provide AD and will not have a passive effect.

Update 14.10 will be available on all servers on May 15th. On the same day, the second split of the ranked season will begin. Additionally, in this patch, Corki will be reworked, returning him to the marksman role. Details about the champion changes can be found in the corresponding note.
