Capcom has confirmed that additional content is coming to Resident Evil Requiem, including a story expansion currently in development. Here’s what is known so far about the first DLC for RE9 and when players might expect it.

When Will the Resident Evil Requiem DLC Release?
The director of Resident Evil Requiem, Koshi Nakanishi, did not reveal a release date for the expansion. According to him, development of the DLC “will take some time,” meaning Capcom is not ready to share a launch window yet.
What Will the RE9 DLC Be About?
Details about the upcoming content remain unknown. However, the main storyline of Resident Evil Requiem features Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft, so it is likely that the DLC will expand on their stories.
Resident Evil Requiem Launch and Sales
Resident Evil Requiem was released on February 27, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with full Russian localization.
The game has already become a major success, selling 5 million copies in less than a week after release.
