Valve is planning to replace the old animation system that isn’t functioning effectively in Counter-Strike 2, according to Dunn Fletcher, a company employee. He mentioned that this “old system” was never used in CSand might involve assets from other games on the Source 2 engine.
Fletcher didn’t specify when the update with new animations will be released, nor did he reveal what else the CS 2 team is working on.
It’s worth noting that on October 3, a major update called Armory was released for CS 2, introducing around 100 new cosmetic items. Players will need to purchase the Armory Pass to access them.
