On the night of October 16, Valve stopped the sales of the Compendium for The International 2024 in Dota 2, which had been available since August 2024. According to the official game website, the final prize pool for the tournament reached $2,602,164.
A notification appeared in the main menu of the game stating: “The action of the TI13 Compendium has ended. Click here to claim your remaining rewards.” However, it is currently unknown how long players will be able to redeem their bonuses.
According to the analytical service Stratz.com, over 300,000 users purchased the Compendium. The gamer with the nickname 牛男 spent the most on themed items, exceeding $4,200.
The International 2024 took place from October 4 to 15 in Copenhagen. The tournament champion was Team Liquid, marking their second world title in Dota 2. The team earned just over $1.1 million for their performance.
