Valve has updated the audio design in Counter-Strike 2 (CS 2), affecting all grenades in the competitive shooter. Fragmentation, flash, smoke, decoy, and incendiary grenades now feature unique, high-precision sounds triggered during extraction, inspection, pin-pulling, and throwing.
Additionally, a new feature allows players to inspect others’ inventories, showcasing skins, medals, and audio bundles.
The standout addition in the September patch is a new skin acquisition mechanic via the Uplink terminal, unlocked after opening a Sealed Genesis Terminal set. More details are available below.
