GamerLegion player Timir “FL4MUS” Maryev expressed his excitement about the upcoming match against NAVI at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 for CS 2. In his post, he also mentioned Alexander “s1mple” Kostyliev.
“Alright, s1mple was knocked out, and now his former team can be as well. I write this without any negativity, though, as some people are already attacking me. I have a lot of respect for NAVI. They’re legends, dominating everyone all year — that’s very tough. I’ve watched their demos and learned to play. I hope I haven’t hurt anyone’s feelings. Alright, guys. Let’s stop the arguments and respect each other. We all watch and love the same game. I haven’t made any statements. I originally came to the major to showcase good CS. If I can do that, we can beat any team. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. I want to play against these players and this structure!”
GamerLegion knocked out Team Falcons with s1mple from the European RMR A, with the match ending 2:1.

Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 is taking place from November 30 to December 15 in China, with a prize pool of $1.25 million. As of the publication of this news, Team Vitality and The MongolZ have advanced to the playoffs.
