Activision has teased three new multiplayer maps coming in Black Ops 6 as part of the Season 1 launch set for November 14. The maps—Hideout (6v6), Extraction (6v6), and Heirloom (available in 6v6 and 2v2 modes)—will be featured in the game’s first season, bringing “a colossal amount of free content,” including multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone maps.
Alongside the multiplayer maps, Season 1 will introduce Area 99, a new Warzone Resurgence map set in Nevada’s desert, at the Echo Ridge Weapons Station near the iconic Nuketown site.
Since its October 25 release, Black Ops 6 has marked milestones as the first Call of Duty game to debut on Game Pass from day one. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella called it “the biggest Call of Duty release ever,” with record-breaking day one player counts and Game Pass subscriber additions. Additionally, sales on PlayStation and Steam surged by over 60% compared to last year’s launch, reflecting Activision’s strategy of offering gameplay access across more screens and platforms.
