Esports analyst Duncan “Thorin” Shields shared his thoughts on Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s potential return to the Natus Vincere starting lineup in Counter-Strike 2. According to Thorin, if the legendary AWPer delivers a strong showing at the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, NAVI might consider bringing him back.
“People overlook the fact that if NAVI are planning roster changes after the Major, and s1mple plays well there, it could be his ticket back into the starting five!” Thorin said.
s1mple returned from inactivity on May 5 and joined FaZe Clan on loan, temporarily replacing broky. He is set to compete at both IEM Dallas 2025 and the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
