Games come alive, and the fun never ends!

The trial usage of Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation Plus subscribers has commenced, and active development is underway for the upcoming significant update

Progress and achievements earned during the two-hour time-limited trial will be preserved if players decide to purchase the full version of the game.

Spider-Man 2 was released for PS5 in October of last year and received widespread critical acclaim, becoming one of Insomniac’s highly-rated games.

Sony claims that Spider-Man 2 is the fastest-selling game in the history of PlayStation Studios, selling 2.5 million copies in its first 24 hours.

Within the first 11 days on the market, the game went on to sell over five million copies, according to the platform’s statement.

On Monday, Insomniac announced that they are still working on the New Game Plus update for Spider-Man 2, which was initially planned for release last year but was delayed to “early 2024.”

The update will also include audio descriptions, along with the ability to change the time of day, swap web colors, and replay missions.

“Our team is still working on it,” the studio stated. “We’ll be delighted to share more news as soon as we can.”

PlayStation Plus Essential games for February have been released. Subscribers can now download Foamstars (PS5, PS4), Rollerdrome (PS5, PS4), and Steelrising (PS5).

As part of this month’s update, Fall Guys is also introducing new costumes and cosmetics for PlayStation Plus members based on mascots, including Ratchet and Clank and Aloy from Horizon.
