Legendary Pictures has announced that the film adaptation of the iconic fighting game series Street Fighter will premiere on October 16, 2026. The movie will be directed by Kitao Sakurawo, known for his work on Twisted Metal.
The cast includes Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, and Roman Reigns as Akuma.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will take place in 1993, focusing on Ryu and Ken, who meet Chun-Li and are invited to a world martial arts tournament — which turns out to be a cover for a conspiracy.
