
Team Liquid have been crowned champions of PGL Wallachia Season 4 in Dota 2. In a thrilling grand final, the team defeated PARIVISION with a 3:2 scoreline. On their way to the title, Liquid took down Team Spirit (2:0) and beat Tundra Esports twice (2:1 and 2:0). However, they did suffer a loss to PARIVISION (1:2) in the upper bracket final. For their victory, Team Liquid earned $300,000.
NAVI Junior also competed in the tournament, making it to the playoffs before finishing in 7th–8th place.
PGL Wallachia Season 4 was held from April 19 to 27 in Bucharest, Romania, featuring a total prize pool of $1 million.
Meanwhile, on April 27, Team Vitality celebrated a major achievement as well. The French squad won IEM Melbourne 2025 in Counter-Strike 2 and claimed the title of ESL Grand Slam 5 champions. Vitality earned $285,000 in prize money and an additional $1 million in gold bars for their Grand Slam victory.

French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated the team, stating:
“Thanks to their Grand Slam victory, Team Vitality has elevated France to the top of the esports world and honored our national colors. Congratulations to the entire team!”
