Host Geoff Keighley drops an explosive new trailer ahead of the Summer Game Fest showcase, set to air the night of June 6–7.
Ahead of the upcoming Summer Game Fest 2025, show organizer Geoff Keighley has released the event’s traditional hype trailer, highlighting some of the year’s most anticipated games. Among the featured titles are Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Split Fiction, Death Stranding 2, and many more potential blockbusters.
However, Keighley was quick to clarify that a game’s appearance in the trailer does not guarantee its presence in the actual showcase.
“Just because a game appears in the trailer doesn’t mean it will be at the event,” Keighley emphasized. He explained that he personally edits the trailer to reflect the overall tone and excitement in the industry, rather than provide a confirmed lineup.
The Summer Game Fest 2025 opening show will be broadcast live on June 6, airing overnight into June 7.
