Football Manager 25, the highly anticipated installment in the iconic series, will be released later than expected. Initially scheduled for November 26, 2024, developers have decided to push the release to March 2025. In an official statement, Sports Interactive explained that this decision was made after discussions with Sega and partners to ensure the best possible quality.
Football Manager 25 is set to be one of the most significant updates in the franchise’s history. Key additions include the introduction of women’s football and a transition to the new Unity graphics engine, which is expected to shape the series’ next 20 years. However, the developers noted that this transition has taken longer than planned, leading to the delay.
The studio emphasized that the extra time will allow them to improve the game’s quality and meet the high expectations of the audience.
