Rockstar Games has filed a lawsuit against a blogger who modified Grand Theft Auto V by adding a map from the yet-to-be-released Grand Theft Auto VI.
According to sources, Rockstar accuses the mod creator of copyright infringement, arguing that they used protected content without permission. The company is also demanding the removal of all materials related to the modification.
This is not the first time Rockstar has taken a strong stance against leaks. Previously, the company aggressively pursued those responsible for spreading GTA 6 information following a major data breach in 2022.
The official announcement of GTA 6 is expected in 2025, with the game’s release likely not before 2026.
