Players will now battle on the new map “Bridge of Progress,” which will replace the current “Howling Abyss.” This location, inspired by the series “Arcane,” serves as a transition between Piltover and Zaun. The developers also promised to add new landscape mechanics, although details have yet to be revealed. First screenshots of the new map are now available.
This is not Riot Games’ first attempt to change the style of the ARAM map—in 2015, the “Howling Abyss” was replaced with the “Butcher’s Bridge” for the Bilgewater-themed event. After the League of Legends client update, the developers stopped redesigning locations due to technical difficulties. However, they have now reconsidered this decision.

The updated ARAM will be introduced in the game alongside the release of the second season of “Arcane.” The premiere of the first part will take place on November 9, with the second and third acts scheduled for November 16 and 23, respectively. The trailer can be viewed below.
