In its financial report, Remedy Entertainment revealed that full production of Control 2 is set to commence in 2025. The team has already implemented critical features and is actively testing workflows. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The report also mentioned that FBC: Firebreak, a cooperative shooter, is in active development and is expected to launch in 2025 across all major platforms, including PC and next-gen consoles.
Additionally, Alan Wake 2 has nearly recouped its development costs, having released its first expansion, The Lake House, in October, along with a special physical edition.
Remedy Entertainment reported a revenue of €17.9 million for the period ending September 30, marking an increase of 128.6% compared to the previous year. CEO Tero Virtala noted that the majority of the revenue came from royalties generated by the sales of Control and Alan Wake.
