Activision has revealed the release date for Season 6 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone—the update will be available on September 18. Alongside this, an official trailer was released, showcasing the first details of the new content.
Seasonal updates for these games typically go live at 9:00 AM PT, 12:00 PM ET, and 5:00 PM BST across all platforms.
As with previous seasons, a special Halloween event called “The Haunting” will take place. This year, players will encounter iconic characters like Michael Myers and Art the Clown.
Last year’s The Haunting event took place in October 2023, adding Halloween-themed maps, modes, and operators to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. Season 6 is expected to follow the same trend.
In addition, the Season 5 Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone was released in late August. Among the new features are the Ink House map and returning game modes like Cyber Attack, Fishfection, Paintball, and Defuse or Destroy. The update also included the final Modern Warfare Zombies story mission and a new operator skin inspired by The Crow.
Meanwhile, the beta testing for Call of Duty Black Ops 6 multiplayer concluded, with the game set to launch on October 25. Activision confirmed there will be no early access to the campaign this time, unlike previous releases.
