Despite multiple statements from CD Projekt about ending support for Cyberpunk 2077, the game continues to receive patches and even fresh content. This time, the Polish developers have once again sparked intrigue within the gaming community.
An official message appeared on the game’s social media channels, supposedly from the President of the New United States of America (NUSA), Rosalind Myers. In it, she warns citizens:
“From those who hide in the shadows, a threat is approaching. Only together can we stand against it.”
The message is dated September 4, leading fans to speculate that CD Projekt might announce or release something new for Cyberpunk 2077 on that day.
Among the theories are a major update, a new expansion (originally, several were planned, but only one was released), or even an entirely new game.
Interestingly, September 4 also marks the scheduled release of the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong, though any connection between the two projects seems unlikely for now.
