The studio Ice Code Games, known for titles like Hard West 2 and Rogue Waters, has unveiled its latest ambitious project — Nightmare Frontier. Blending multiple genres, the game combines tactical strategy, survival mechanics, and extraction shooter elements for a unique experience.
Set in an alternate version of early 20th-century America, the game presents a twisted vision of the so-called American Dream turned into a haunting nightmare. Players will lead a team of survivors venturing into a desolate city to scavenge for resources and return safely to their shelter.
During these expeditions, characters will face off against supernatural creatures, with combat relying not only on traditional weapons but also on mystical powers and objects found in the environment. The core combat system features turn-based encounters, offering deep tactical freedom and strategic depth.
