G2 Esports sniper Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov gave a brief interview ahead of the IEM Rio 2024 CS 2 tournament. In it, he shared his goals for the tournament and explained why his team performs better with fan support.
“In the match against NAVI, you looked like a completely different team.”
“On stage, everything feels different. I think it’s because of the audience. They help us play better. During the game on stage, I feel a slightly different atmosphere. The stage gives us an extra boost.
I’m really looking forward to the chance to play in the playoffs, but it’s too early to talk about that right now. My goal for this tournament is to make it to the playoffs. The fans here are amazing. Obviously, we have confidence right now, but we want to focus on each game. It’s a very simple answer, but it’s really important to us. You know G2; we can lose to someone and then make a comeback.”
