G2 Esports sniper Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov opened up about his interest in Dota 2, revealing that he occasionally plays the game. He has a MMR of about 3.8k, and his favorite hero is mid-lane Kunkka.
“I sometimes log into Dota 2; the last time I played was about two months ago,” Osipov noted. He compared hero updates in Dota 2 to map updates in CS, expressing a desire to see more changes in the competitive environment.
Ilya has already accumulated four thousand hours of gameplay in Dota 2, although he believes he is not an expert. “I’m good at button pressing and quick reactions, but I don’t know the meta and other aspects of the game,” he added, noting that he usually plays mid or carry. Previously, his favorite hero was Magnus.
Osipov shared his gaming experience in Dota 2 ahead of the upcoming IEM Rio 2024 tournament, where his team has already faced a setback, losing their debut match against Heroic with a score of 11-13.
