Linkin Park, in collaboration with Riot Games, has released a music video for the Worlds 2024 anthem for League of Legends. The video is now available on the official YouTube channel of the game.
In the video, players from the T1 team defend a temple featuring a crown that symbolizes championship glory against this year’s contenders, including G2 Esports, Bilibili Gaming, and others. The esports athletes are depicted as League of Legends characters, and the video also showcases animated versions of the Linkin Park members.
This music video marks the band’s debut following their return to the music scene. Linkin Park announced their reunion in early September, with Emily Armstrong, known for her work in the band Dead Sara, stepping in as the new vocalist. The song “Heavy is The Crown” will be featured on Linkin Park’s upcoming eighth studio album titled From Zero, set to release on November 15.
The Worlds 2024 championship will take place from September 25 to November 2 in Europe, where teams will compete for a prize pool of $2.2 million. Additionally, participants will receive bonuses from the sales of a themed skin for Viego and special emotes.
