Karrigan questions FaZe Clan’s championship form ahead of PGL Major 2025

FaZe Clan captain Finn “karrigan” Andersen has shared his thoughts on the team’s current form in CS2, admitting that while they are heading in the right direction, progress is coming far too slowly. With several major events on the horizon — including the upcoming PGL Major 2025 in Bucharest — the veteran IGL stressed the urgency of securing a long-awaited title.

“It’s been a year without a trophy, and we desperately need to win. That’s the goal, but right now, I find it hard to say we’re serious contenders. I want to win and I strive for it, but I’m not sure we’re there yet,” Andersen admitted.

He also pointed out the team’s inconsistency under pressure and emphasized the importance of pushing through tough matches:

“You’re not going to play perfectly for seven games in a row. There will be bad games, and if you’re not ready, you’re out.”

FaZe Clan last lifted a trophy at IEM Chengdu 2024, where they defeated MOUZ in the grand final to claim $100,000. They also came close at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, but fell short against Team Spirit in the final.
