Insomniac Games and PlayStation have unexpectedly announced the release date for Marvel’s Wolverine via social media. The game is set to launch on September 15, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5.
The project is being developed in collaboration with Marvel Games and will tell an original story centered on Logan. Developers promise brutal close-quarters combat, unrestrained rage, and the unwavering determination of a hero searching for answers about his past.
The previously shown trailer highlights Wolverine’s journey across multiple global locations, featuring bloody encounters and a confrontation with one of his most dangerous enemies, Omega Red. Eagle-eyed viewers also spotted Mystique, hinting at even more complex events ahead.
Thanks to his regenerative abilities, Logan rises and returns to the fight time and time again. Because he’s not just a superhero.
