FaZe Clan may have paid between $50,000 and $100,000 to temporarily acquire Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, according to esports journalist Milan “Striker” Švejda. The topic came up during an episode of the HLTV Confirmed podcast, where Striker discussed possible figures with fellow CS2 analysts.
“We don’t have official info on how much FaZe paid to loan s1mple — it could be $50K, maybe $100K, for around 30 days,” Striker suggested.
S1mple will represent FaZe Clan at IEM Dallas 2025 and the BLAST.tv Austin Major, stepping in for Helvijs “broky” Saugis, who had been part of the roster for nearly six years. The Ukrainian superstar has promised to deliver strong performances at the Major and not let the team down.
FaZe’s in-game leader Finn “karrigan” Andersen has also voiced confidence in the lineup with s1mple, citing his experience as a major asset for the upcoming events.
