FaZe Clan captain Finn “karrigan” Andersen opens up about a possible departure from the CS 2 roster

The veteran in-game leader said he would have no problem leaving the team if his teammates lose faith in him. Karrigan shared his thoughts in an interview with HLTV following the signing of Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken.

“Honestly, I’m not entirely sure how it all went down. Maybe my name was on the table too. From what I understood, one of the reasons for [rain’s] departure was the desire to have a younger core. Later I found out that rain also wants to become an in-game leader at some point.

Who knows, maybe the management asked the players if they still believe in me and in the work I’m doing. I told them straight: if anyone in the team stops believing in me — I’ll gladly step aside. I work hard, I’m motivated, but if someone thinks I’m not helping the team, then as I said — no hard feelings, I’ll go. I’m not here to let FaZe Clan down.”

After Håvard “rain” Nygaard’s departure, karrigan faced criticism from the community, with some fans suggesting that he’s trying to hold onto his spot despite the team’s recent poor performances. This topic was also discussed by insider Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov.

FaZe Clan previously ran into roster issues at ESL Pro League Season 22, as the team had to replace three players after receiving an invite, making them ineligible to compete under the tournament’s rules. Because of this, rain temporarily returned to the lineup.
