The Esports World Cup Foundation has revealed that Dota 2 will be the third confirmed discipline for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026 tournament. The announcement appeared on the organization’s social media channels.
Valve’s MOBA joins a roster of 16 games featured at this international esports event, scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 2-8. The prize pool is expected to reach $1.5 million.
The ENC Dota 2 championship will feature 32 national teams competing in a format consisting of a round-robin group stage followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket.

Direct invitations will be determined using the National Team Ranking system. An additional 14 squads will advance through online qualifiers spanning eight regions from June 16 to July 5.

- Eastern Europe: 2 slots
- Western Europe: 2 slots
- North America: 1 slot
- South America: 2 slots
- Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia: 2 slots
- Southeast Asia and Oceania: 2 slots
- South and East Asia: 2 slots
- Central and Southern Africa: 1 slot
