The collaboration introduces exclusive cosmetics, a crafting system, and living creatures from the Monster Hunter universe. The crossover event spans November 11 to February 6.
There are six new sets inspired by the Monster Hunter universe and Valve’s MOBA. Each set reflects the famous Monster Hunter-style armor for each hero, with three craftable variations. Players can loot crafting materials from “hunting” enemy heroes in matches to unlock the variations.
In addition, the event introduces the popular Palico courier, as well as Poogie, who visits the base as a special friend when players walk back to respawn.
The update also introduces a new Hero Atlas, where players can keep better track of their progress and gain bits of lore from each hero.
Finally, the new Expedition Pack contains themed cosmetics based on Monster Hunter monsters, along with a music pack, seasonal graffiti, and plenty of crafting materials. Excitingly, players who purchase the Expedition Pack can craft their own Palico and Poogie alternate versions, as well as new versions of sets with unique immortal and environmental effects.
