Pearl Abyss has announced that development on the epic RPG Crimson Desert has been finalized. The title is currently undergoing console certification and physical edition preparation, with a launch date set for March 19 across Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
The game takes place in the world of Pywel, which surpasses Red Dead Redemption 2’s map in size and is nearly double the open-world expanse of Skyrim. The development team promises an expansive and content-rich environment featuring mech piloting, encounters with mechanical dragons, floating islands with puzzle elements, an intricate combat system incorporating magic and wrestling techniques, plus dozens of factions and diverse activities.
