Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that since the launch of Overwatch 2, more than 1 million cheater accounts have been banned. The announcement was published on the company’s official website.
According to Blizzard, among them were 23,000 players penalized for using unauthorized peripherals — such as connecting a mouse and keyboard to consoles. The bans also targeted users of aimbots, wallhacks, and other cheats.
Overwatch 2 was released on October 4, 2022.
