The run of all-European grand finals at CS:GO Majors, which began with FACEIT Major London 2018, has come to an end — BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 guarantees a finalist from either South America or Asia.
One semifinal will see paiN Gaming face off against The MongolZ for a spot in the grand final. On the other side of the bracket, MOUZ will take on Team Vitality for the second slot.
Notably, FaZe Clan and AVANGAR are not geographically European — the former is based in North America and the latter in Central Asia — but both have competed under the European region in CS. Combined, they’ve appeared in four Major grand finals.
The tournament is being held in the United States from June 3 to 22. The winner will take home $500,000.
