EA and DICE have officially announced that the free battle royale mode for Battlefield 6, titled Battlefield REDSEC, will launch on October 28, coinciding with the start of Season 1. The new mode will be available tomorrow for all players.
According to earlier reports from dataminers, REDSEC will not include a solo mode at launch — players will be able to compete only in duos and squads of four. The release of REDSEC will mark the beginning of Battlefield 6’s first major content season, introducing a new map rotation, seasonal rewards, and exclusive progression systems.
