Ace Combat 8: Wings of Thieve will be the first new addition to this franchise in 7 years, and will be released in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Wings of Thieves has been developed using Unreal Engine 5, which makes this version of Ace Combat the most visually advanced game thus far.
Wings of Thieves has a single-player Campaign Mode and takes place within the World of Strangereal, coupled with several different multiplayer dogfight Modes.
The player plays the role of the Legendary Ace “Wings of Thieve”, who attempts to reclaim the Federation of Central Usea (FCU) from the Republic of Sotoa while holding the Hope for his country as he engages in War. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (2019), sold over 3 million copies, making it the highest-selling game in the entire franchise.
