Phantom Blade Zero, the upcoming fast-paced action RPG from S-GAME, just got a full hour of gameplay footage — and it’s as stylish as fans hoped. Drawing inspiration from Devil May Cry‘s combo-heavy combat and Sekiro‘s intense parrying system, the game showcases an elegant mix of speed, precision, and cinematic flair.
In the extended gameplay demo, players can see:
- High-speed melee combat with acrobatics and counterattacks;
- Wall-running, dodging, and stunning execution moves;
- Boss fights that evolve over phases, demanding mastery of the game’s deep mechanics.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, Phantom Blade Zero boasts high-quality animations, motion capture, and a unique “kung fu punk” aesthetic blending traditional Chinese martial arts with dark fantasy visuals.
The game is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. While no official release date has been announced, it’s already one of the most talked-about action games following its gameplay reveal at Summer Game Fest.
“It’s like Devil May Cry and Sekiro had a cinematic baby,” — said one previewer.
