In Dota 2, arcanas have been added for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit

On the night of April 19, a Dota 2 event called “Fallen Crown” began. As part of this event, arcanas for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit were added. Both of these items are available for purchase for $35.

Among the key features of the new Arcana are:

• Completely new models, pedestals, animations, and effects.
• Unique elements such as portraits and icons for the mini-map.
• Exclusive voice lines.
• Each Arcana has an additional style that will unlock after completing the storyline of Act IV of the Crownfall event.

Alongside the Arcanas, a new narrative event called Crownfall has started in Dota 2. It’s divided into four parts, with the first already available in the client and the second expected in mid-May. The start dates for the third and fourth parts are currently unknown.

Discussions about releasing premium skins for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit began in late 2023. At that time, dataminers discovered mentions of Arcanas in Dota files. Later, after the announcement of the “Crownfall” patch, cosmetic item icons were found in the game.
