Introduced in March 2022, the service grants members access to a rotating selection of Rockstar titles, while GTA Online players enjoy additional cash, vehicles, cosmetics, and exclusive events.
Previously priced at $5.99 / €5.99 / £4.99 per month, the monthly subscription now stands at $7.99 / €7.99 / £6.99, marking a 33% increase in the US and Europe, and a 40% surge in the UK.
GTA+ does not provide multi-month or annual subscription options.
Games accessible via the service include Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition (Xbox and PlayStation), GTA: Liberty City Stories (iOS and Android), GTA: Chinatown Wars (iOS and Android), and Red Dead Redemption (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S).
Rockstar‘s western title, accompanied by its Undead Nightmare DLC expansion, was introduced to GTA+ last month, while Bully and LA Noire are set to join the service later this year.
The hike in GTA+ prices comes ahead of the anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 6, slated to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025.
This week, Electronic Arts also increased the price of its EA Play subscription service. The standard EA Play tier rose from $4.99 / £3.99 per month to $5.99 / £5.99, with the annual fee climbing from $29.99 / £19.99 to $39.99 / £35.99.
Last year, Sony raised the price of its PlayStation Plus service by up to 35%, while Microsoft also adjusted Game Pass prices, though the increases were relatively modest.
