The remake of Yakuza 3 will be released after another unannounced game from the series

The head and scriptwriter of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, Masayoshi Yokoyama, confirmed that casting for a new game in the Like a Dragon series will begin in the near future. He noted that this will not be Yakuza Kiwami 3.

Yokoyama stated that the unannounced game currently does not have an official title. As for the remake of the third installment of Yakuza, he replied that he will definitely take on Kiwami 3 at some point.

Most likely, the unnamed new project will be released on both PC and PlayStation and Xbox, as was the case with Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which sold millions of copies in its first week of sales.
