The official collectible card game set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe has made a stunning debut on Kickstarter, setting new benchmarks for the tabletop gaming industry.
The initial funding goal of $100,000 was reached in just five minutes. Within a few hours, the campaign had already raised over $7.9 million, making it the most-funded TCG project in Kickstarter history.
The game is being developed by WeirdCo in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red. The team admitted they did not anticipate such overwhelming demand. Originally, stretch goals were planned to cap at $3 million, but due to the massive support, they had to be quickly expanded.
With 30 days still remaining, the campaign is expected to reach a final total that could be virtually unmatched by competitors. Delivery of the game and its rewards is scheduled to begin in Q3 2026.
